On March 18, 2021, our current students of the DANAA had the honor of holding a Zoom session with one of its alumnus (class 2001-2002) who is currently a Team Leader and a Senior Counsel at International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID, Washington, D.C.) : Mr. Paul-Jean Le Cannu.
This meeting was a perfect occasion to further develop our knowledge on ICSID, on its dispute settlement process and its Secretariat’s main functions. Mr. Paul-Jean Le Cannu also delivered an enriching overview of investment arbitration and the existing alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
It was certainly a pleasure discussing with Mr. Paul-Jean Le Cannu and improving our understanding of these topics. We would therefore like to warmly thank him for this instructive session, wishing him all the best in the future!
