Visit of a law firm- Freshfields

On January 21st, our class had the honor of being welcomed to the Paris office of Freshfields for a visit and a presentation of the firm.

We had the pleasure of meeting Noah Rubins KC (Partner); Matei PURICE (Counsel); Yosr B. (Senior Associate); Mathilde Allard (Associate); Paul Highnam (Associate); Nathan Gayer de Mena (Associate) and Pegah Kelasi (Associate), all members of the international arbitration team. 

During the presentation, they introduced us to the history of Freshfields, the internal functioning of the Paris office, the specific challenges of international arbitration, and their own legal career paths. 

The discussion provided valuable insights into both the professional and human dimensions of working in an international law firm, and offered us a clearer understanding of the realities and opportunities of a career in international arbitration.
